Overview
自一九九四年成立以來，華府華文作家協會開始出版年刊，二零一零年改為雙年刊，單年出刊。作協新近還開闢了《文繫中華專欄》（紙本）、《華府作協專欄》（網站），雖與雙年刊堪稱姊妹三花，但雙年刊仍是其中最重要的展示會員文學成果的途徑。 此期年刊有悼念巫寧坤先生的專題，以及八個囊括了各種體裁的文學欄目，更有兩年來會員的新書發表等訊息。不僅文章、著作數量創新高，並且內容豐富飽滿、文字旖旎多姿，彰顯會員筆耕不綴、踴躍投稿、碩果累累的精神風貌。另有作協活動報導、寫作工坊、「寫-閱-評-聚」、新創建的編輯部以及徵稿信息，與讀者共享來自大華府地區中華文化的鼎盛文風。 此次雙年刊收錄了五十七位會員的九十篇文稿，參與者與文章數均創新高。作者年齡跨度從九零後到九十高齡。專題報導記錄了作協對新近去世的華府著名文人、國內外著名翻譯家巫寧坤先生的悼念活動。八個文學欄目中各種文章體裁均有涉及，彰顯了華府作協會員的水平，豐富了雙年刊內容。 雙年刊歷來是華府華文作家協會會員筆墨的定期展示，也是一屆幹事會工作接近尾聲的總結，同時作爲一界地標，是作協在華府華人文化史上留下的醒目烙印。 本屆最重要的創新主要有四： 1. 集體著書 連續主辦2018-2019、2019-2020兩屆工坊學員、由幹事會及「寫閱評聚」核心成員把關，兩年集體創作兩本《華府人物文集》。效仿前輩吳崇蘭，將華府甘於奉獻的「小人物」載入史冊。 2. 創立報上專欄 通過積極聯繫，爭取到了《華府新聞日報》的支持，得以在其報紙上創立《文繫中華專欄》。刊於該報每星期四的版面，及時報導作協簡訊、發表會員作品。至2019年底已完成第45期專欄。 3. 創立網上專欄 及時抓住機遇，將《華府作協專欄》擴展到《華府新聞日報》的網站上藉助媒體的力量。平均2-3天更新一次文學作品，從2019年8月創刊至2019年12月短短四個月，已徵得、並上刊一百四十多篇各種體裁的文章，全部都是會員作品。 4. 創辦編輯部 上述創新之路，很自然地催開了一朵奇異之花：這就是「華府作協編輯部」的創立。這一新生團隊的創辦與運轉，令所有創新走上良性循環的堅實之路。該編輯部由二十餘位有實力、且甘於奉獻的會員組成，負責十個文學園地文稿的徵收、審閱、修改、以及刊發工作。這十個園地分別是：散文怡園、小說園地、新詩天地、古詩詞苑、傳記/回憶、報導文學、旅遊園地、文化美食、親子教育、評論/雜文/其他。編輯部有詳細的整體規劃，有銜接緊密、分工明確的工作流程，有嚴格的紀律規定與工作手冊，並且有循序漸進的培訓計劃。正是這一切，我們得以出色地、持之以恆地推行着各個專欄的合理運轉。既便是這本雙年刋的成功刋出，也包含了很多編輯的辛勤汗水。此編輯部將是作協的一筆寶貴財富，希望今後會在更多更大的範圍上展現其風貌、更深更廣地爲所有會員的文學創作服務，使華府作協更加具有作家協會的典型風範。Description
Condition Guidelines
Books - New and Used
The following guidelines apply to books:
- New: A brand-new copy with cover and original protective wrapping intact. Books with markings of any kind on the cover or pages, books marked as "Bargain" or "Remainder," or with any other labels attached, may not be listed as New condition.
- Used - Good: All pages and cover are intact (including the dust cover, if applicable). Spine may show signs of wear. Pages may include limited notes and highlighting. May include "From the library of" labels. Shrink wrap, dust covers, or boxed set case may be missing. Item may be missing bundled media.
- Used - Acceptable: All pages and the cover are intact, but shrink wrap, dust covers, or boxed set case may be missing. Pages may include limited notes, highlighting, or minor water damage but the text is readable. Item may but the dust cover may be missing. Pages may include limited notes and highlighting, but the text cannot be obscured or unreadable.
Note: Some electronic material access codes are valid only for one user. For this reason, used books, including books listed in the Used – Like New condition, may not come with functional electronic material access codes.

Shipping Fees
- Stevens Books offers FREE SHIPPING everywhere in the United States for ALL non-book orders, and $3.99 for each book.
- Packages are shipped from Monday to Friday.
- No additional fees and charges.
Delivery Times
The usual time for processing an order is 24 hours (1 business day), but may vary depending on the availability of products ordered. This period excludes delivery times, which depend on your geographic location.
Estimated delivery times:
- Standard Shipping: 5-8 business days
- Expedited Shipping: 3-5 business days
Shipping method varies depending on what is being shipped.
Tracking
All orders are shipped with a tracking number. Once your order has left our warehouse, a confirmation e-mail with a tracking number will be sent to you. You will be able to track your package at all times.
Damaged Parcel
If your package has been delivered in a PO Box, please note that we are not responsible for any damage that may result (consequences of extreme temperatures, theft, etc.).

Returns & Refunds
You may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards

- Some health and personal care items
To complete your return, we require a tracking number, which shows the items which you already returned to us.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- Book with obvious signs of use
- CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Items returned to us as a result of our error will receive a full refund,some returns may be subject to a restocking fee of 7% of the total item price, please contact a customer care team member to see if your return is subject. Returns that arrived on time and were as described are subject to a restocking fee.
Items returned to us that were not the result of our error, including items returned to us due to an invalid or incomplete address, will be refunded the original item price less our standard restocking fees.
If the item is returned to us for any of the following reasons, a 15% restocking fee will be applied to your refund total and you will be asked to pay for return shipping:
- Item(s) no longer needed or wanted.
- Item(s) returned to us due to an invalid or incomplete address.
- Item(s) returned to us that were not a result of our error.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
