Kristallnacht: Nazi Persecution of the Jews in Europe

The Kristallnacht pogrom of November 9 and 10, 1938, caused destruction and persecution throughout many of Germany's cities. Jewish homes, businesses, and places of worship were reduced to rubble by the Nazis in a first step to remove Jews from German society.
