Overview
With all due respect to the King James Version of the Bible, its books are quite out of order! The fact is, King James and his team of 54 translators missed a golden opportunity to produce a complete Bible in which the books follow the original manuscript order which, ironically, was well known among those scholars. Why was the inspired canonical order intentionally ignored? Was it political/religious expediency? Was there a real fear of offending the doctrinal sensitivities of the Church of England?

Now, 400 years later, a new Bible is making headlines The Holy Bible In Its Original Order. This extraordinary Bible is unique in three ways.

First, it is the only complete Bible ever published with Old and New Testaments that follows the original, canonical manuscript order. Today, nearly all theologians and scholars recognize this manuscript order, but overlook its importance. The Holy Bible In Its Original Order gives you, the reader, concrete, verifiable proof of the original, inspired manuscript order of the books of the Bible. Commentaries are included that trace precisely how the order of the books of the Bible was mysteriously altered by early church fathers in the fourth century, leading to the present 66-book format.

Once the original order of the 49 God-breathed biblical books is properly restored, God s purposeful design of the Scriptures begins to unfold, substantiating its divine inspiration. Major portions of Scripture become unscrambled from an arrangement of neglect and disorder, unlocking vital keys to understanding. The Bible suddenly takes on a new sense of balance, symmetry and unity.

Second, this version is a new easy-to-understand translation, one that reflects the meaning of the original Hebrew and Greek with fidelity and accuracy. It combines current scholarship with the latest in archeological findings yet, it is free from the influence of religious tradition and presupposition.

Third, The Holy Bible In Its Original Order recaptures the original, inspired teachings of both the Old and New Testaments through its translation and its extensive commentaries. Over the centuries, numerous doctrinal errors have developed from inaccurate translations and rigid adherence to religious traditions of men. Setting aside such traditions, this new Bible restores more than just the correct canonical order it restores the very truth of God.

With its faithful translation and wealth of commentaries and appendices (over 250 pages worth), The Holy Bible In Its Original Order is designed to lead the believer to the unadulterated truth of the Old and New Testament Scriptures and into the faith once delivered by Jesus Christ and the original apostles.

Editorial Reviews
After the New Testament portion of The Holy Bible In Its Original Order appeared in 1995, and was reviewed in the June 2005 issue of this Journal, we are pleased to see the entire Bible now in print. We said at that time, It is an excellent translation for those desiring a literal one and [that] describes this edition of the entire Bible as well.

This translation says it is the only complete Bible ever published that accurately follows the original God-inspired manuscript order of all the books of the Old and New Testaments. (Several others, however, claim to present the New Testament in chronological order.)

On the back of this volume is a short explanation Why This Bible? saying [it is a] Faithful Version that reflects the true meaning of the original Hebrew and Greek with fidel-ity and accuracy, showing the unity of Scripture between the Old and New Testaments. To-day, in the face of rampant religious confusion, those who read and study the Bible deserve an excellency of translation that can be trusted.

Included are vital commentaries providing accounts of the history and preservation of the books of the Bible. Who wrote them? When were they written? Other appendices answer such questions as: When was Jesus born? What does it mean to be born again? What are works of law? Moreover, there are detailed footnotes and marginal references explaining hard-to-understand passages of Scripture.

Other features of this attractively-bound volume are triple binding for extra long life: Symthe stitching, spine stitching and glued; wide margins for personal study notes; beautiful original artwork of the Temple in Jesus time; and maps.

We heartily recommend this fine translation that will be a welcome addition to every Bible collectors library. --Dan Decker Published in Bible Editions & Versions (January 2009) [The following is a review of] The Holy Bible In Its Original Order, [translation and] commentary by Fred R. Coulter (York Publishing). This is an interesting Bible, and is self-described as a Faithful Version with Commentary. Coulter, a pastor of more than 40 years, argues that the original canonical order of the Bible was in seven divisions. Fred R. Coulter Minister, Author and Publisher

With a ministry now spanning 44 years, Fred Coulter is on a God-inspired mission to preserve the truth of God for the next generation of faithful Christians. According to Coulter, secular-liberal, New Age-satanic forces are fast at work corrupting the fundamental truths of the Bible and destroying godly morality. Additionally, prominent atheists in America and the UK have mounted bitter assaults against God and the Bible. In fact, Christianity itself is experiencing rampant doctrinal confusion and heresy, resulting in the overthrow of bedrock moral values. Even the Scriptures themselves are no longer held as sacred, but have been thoroughly violated in the rush to produce so-called modern gender-neutral translations.

It is against this backdrop that Coulter has worked as minister, author and publisher to produce nine biblical books, an abundance of booklets and papers, 1600 audio sermons, and 400 video sermon--all designed to safeguard the true doctrines of Christ, as well as the Scriptures themselves. Recent publications include Occult Holidays or Gods Holy Days--Which?, now in its second edition. A much-needed resource for Bible students, this book contrasts the pagan holidays of nominal Christianity with the God-ordained holy days of the Bible. In July of 2008, Coulters work reached a personal milestone with the first printing of The Holy Bible In Its Original Order--A Faithful Version With Commentary. This new English translation is an easy-to-read rendering of the Old and New Testaments and is completely faithful to the original texts--including their original manuscript order.

Coulter has also developed in-depth Web sites for the purpose of preserving biblical truth (cbcg.org and biblicaltruthministries.org). Over a thousand audio sermons and Bible studies are available for download, including numerous sermon transcripts and biblical articles. Commentaries, histories and chronologies are also available.

Education Coulter graduated from San Mateo State College and attended the University of San Francisco before graduating from Ambassador University, Pasadena, CA, with a BA in Theology in 1964. Coulter completed advanced biblical and ministerial studies from 1972-75 under the Ambassador University Master s Program.

Translating the New Testament After completing formal instruction in NT Greek, Coulter continued to expand his knowledge of Greek for the next 20 years by undertaking a verse-by-verse study of the books of the New Testament using the Byzantine Text. In the course of his study, he was moved to translate the Gospel accounts into clear, easy-to-read English for contemporary reader--resulting in his first published work, A Harmony of the Gospels in Modern English (now in its third edition). Ultimately, Coulter was inspired to translate the entire New Testament. After twelve years of translating, The New Testament In Its Original Order--A Faithful Version With Commentary was completed and published in 2004.

Ministerial Career Ordained as a minister of Christ in 1965, Coulter has served as pastor of several Sabbath-keeping churches in the Pacific Northwest, the Mountain States, the Los Angeles area and the central coast area of California. Since 1983, Coulter has served as pastor of the Christian Biblical Church of God (CBCG), headquartered in Hollister, California (cbcg.org).

Shipping Cost

We'll pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). In other cases, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
